Disruptive digital forces in Kazakhstan

A few weeks ago I was invited to Astana, Kazakhstan by the United Nations Development Program to deliver a workshop on the latest strategic digital / social media marketing and communications best practices being used by the public sector here in Canada and around the globe. The audience was composed of about 40 Press Secretaries and Heads of Communications for the various Ministries in Kazakhstan.

SRDC Open Data Consultation Debrief

Over the next few blog posts I will debrief a few of the many events I attended this Spring. I have included only key takeaways and interesting insights (ok, well I find them interesting anyway…). The SRDC Open Data Consultation was an invitation only event, which I had the pleasure of participating in. Canada’s only Public Sector & Non-Profit Marketing Forum

Next week is a big week for us as it’s the second year that CEPSM is running the MARCOM Annual Forum, which was formerly run by CMG Canada (now part of CEPSM). For all of you newbies, the MARCOM Annual Forum is the only event in Canada that caters specifically to government, non-profit and association marketers and communicators.
